Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute möchte ich euch ein außergewöhnliches Hotel auf Fuerteventura vorstellen.

Eine Woche vor Weihnachten war es Deutschland kalt und ungemütlich, eine stressige Zeit Mitte Dezember. Genau der richtige Moment, um in das milde Klima der Kanaren zu entfliehen und eine wunderschöne Zeit in einem außergewöhnlichen Hotel zu verbringen.

Das Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real 5* G.L ist einer des besten Hotels, in denen ich je gewohnt habe. Ich stehe mit dieser Meinung nicht alleine da, denn das Hotel wurde schon mehrmals ausgezeichnet, unter anderem in der Kategorie Best European Waterside Hotel 2017, sowie als TUI Umwelt-Champion.

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Meer, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Dünen von Corralejo, ganz im Norden der Insel. Gegenüber kann man die Nachbarinsel Lanzarote sehen.

Diejenigen von euch, die mir auf Instagram folgen, haben wahrscheinlich schon meine Instastory-Videos des Hotels gesehen. Schon beim Betreten des sehr edlen und eindrucksvollen Lobby-Bereiches mit seinem hohen Kuppel-Dach denkt man nur: einfach atemberaubend schön!

Dieser Bereich ist in sehr angenehmen hellen Beige-Tönen gestaltet. Wenn die Strahlen der tief stehenden Sonne durch die Fenster fallen, kann man das Spiel des Lichtes auf dem Brunnen in der Mitte des Raums beobachten.

Trotz Sonne und angenehm warmen 20 Grad im Dezember war natürlich auch hier Weihnachtszeit. Der gesamte Eingangsbereich war sehr schön dezent dekoriert und im hinteren Teil der Lobby erzeugte ein sehr stilvoll geschmückter großer Weihnachtsbaum eine sehr warme und gemütliche Weihnachts-Stimmung.

Das Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real 5* G.L ist ein relativ großes Hotel, mit 242 Zimmern und Suiten. Jedes Zimmer ist luxuriös und stilvoll gestaltet, und bietet sehr viel Platz von mindestens 36qm, sowie eine große Terrasse. Die Gäste können zwischen Zimmern mit Meerblick oder Blick auf die liebevoll gepflegten Gärten wählen. Die angenehmen Farbtöne in Zimmer und Bad sind sehr harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt.
Ich habe in einem wunderschönen Deluxe-Zimmer mit Meerblick gewohnt, und konnte Tag und Nacht das beruhigende Meeresrauschen genießen.

Das Hotel ist Ausgangspunkt vieler Aktivitäten auf der Insel. Man kann aufregende Fahrten im Jeep erleben, spannende unberührte Landschaften erkunden. Wassersportarten wie Windsurfen, Segeln oder Tauchen stehen hier hoch im Kurs. Man kann auch einfach an einem der endlosen Strände in der Sonne liegen und das kristallklare Wasser des Ozeans vor Fuerteventura betrachten, natürlich auch am hoteleigenen Strand. Die kleinen Gäste werden von den Tieren im Oasis Park und dem Wasserpark in Corralejo begeistert sein.

Für Gäste, die einen ruhigen Urlaub bevorzugen, bietet das Hotel einen luxuriösen, 3.000 qm großen Spa-Bereich an, der wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt!

Das Spa Bahia Vital bietet so viele Möglichkeiten der Entspannung und Wellness an, dass ich es zeitlich schwer hatte, alles auszuprobieren.

Beim Schwimmen im Pool mit einer Wassertemperatur von 32 Grad können die Gäste den herrlichen Ausblick auf das Meer genießen. Weitere Entspannung kann man in Whirlpools, Erlebnisduschen, einer finnischen Sauna, Sanarium oder in einem Dampfbad bekommen. Außerdem kann man sich in einem der 17 Behandlungsräume mit einer Massage, Physiotherapie, Aromatherapie oder einem der verschiedensten Wellnesspakete verwöhnen lassen.

Für sportlich aktive steht ein eigener Fitness-Club mit vielen Geräten und Kursen zur Verfügung. Hier gibt es auch eine schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool.

Wer unter freiem Himmel windgeschützt relaxen will, dem sei das Coco Beach Chillout ans Herz gelegt. Das war mein absoluter Lieblings-Ort. Er ist über einen Steg vom Hotelstrand aus erreichbar. Hier kann man sich auf balinesischen Liegen mit Aussicht auf das türkisfarbene Meer perfekt entspannen. Alles hier ist stilvoll in schönem Weiß gestaltet. Ich habe hier sehr gerne Zeit verbracht. Eine außergewöhnliche Atmosphäre mit ruhiger Musik und einem herrlichen Ausblick.

Auf der anderen Seite des hoteleigenen Strandes befindet sich, ebenfalls auf einer Plattform über dem Meer gelegen, die Coco Beach Lounge & Club. Hier kann man in entspannter Atmosphäre leckeres Essen und Cocktails genießen.

Insgesamt bietet das Hotel 6 Restaurants mit sehr abwechslungsreicher Gastronomie auf höchstem Niveau.
Beispielsweise wurde das Restaurant "La Cúpula" mit einem "Sol Repsol" ausgezeichnet. Hier serviert Sternekoch Carles Gaig edelste Speisen.

Das japanische Restaurant Yamatori bietet verschiedenen exotische Gerichte, sowie Sushi an. Und auch im Buffet-Restaurant kann man sich am Abend aus einer großen Auswahl frisch zubereiteter kulinarischer Genüsse erfreuen.

Am Abend kann man in der Piano-Bar "El Mirador" feine Cocktails bei Livemusik genießen. Sie ist als beste Cocktailbar der kanarischen Inseln ausgezeichnet worden. Auch tagsüber hat man, von hier und der Terrasse aus, eine tolle Aussicht direkt auf den Ozean. Als Musikerin konnte ich dem einzigartigen Charme und dem Ambiente der Bar nicht widerstehen, und habe mich selbst an den Flügel gesetzt um ein paar Stücke zu spielen.

Dieser erholsame Winterausflug aus dem kalten Deutschland hat mich sehr glücklich gemacht. Die Insel hat mir sehr gefallen, als Sommeroase im europäischen Winter. Das Hotel ist einfach nur genial! Mehr luxuriöse Erholung kann man kaum bekommen. Auch der Service, und die sehr zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter, sind einfach nur toll. Hier nimmt man sich Zeit, jeden Wunsch der Gäste zu erfüllen. Wer eine Reise nach Fuerteventura plant, dem kann ich das Hotel sehr ans Herz legen. Ich habe die Zeit sehr genossen.

today I would like to introduce you to an extraordinary hotel on Fuerteventura.

One week before Christmas it was cold and uncomfortable in Germany, a stressful time in mid-December. This was just the right moment to escape into the mild climate of the Canary Islands and spend a wonderful time in an extraordinary hotel.

The Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real 5* G.L is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.I am not alone with this opinion, because the hotel has already been awarded several times, among others in the category Best European Waterside Hotel 2017, and as TUI environmental champion.

The location is perfect, directly by the sea, close to the dunes of Corralejo, in the north of the island. Opposite you can see the neighboring island of Lanzarote.

Those of you who follow me on Instagram have probably already seen my instastory videos of the hotel. When entering the very noble and impressive lobby area with its high dome roof, you are just blown away: it’s simply breathtakingly beautiful!

This area is designed in very pleasant light beige shades. When the rays of low sunlight fall through the windows, one can observe the play of light on the fountain in the middle of the room.

Despite the sun and a pleasantly warm temperature of 20 degrees Celsius in December, it was of course also Christmas time here. The entire entrance area was very nicely decorated and in the back of the lobby a very stylishly decorated big Christmas tree created a very warm and cozy Christmas atmosphere.

The Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real 5* G.L is a relatively large hotel with 242 rooms and suites. Each room is luxurious and stylishly decorated, and offers a lot of space of at least 36 sqm, as well as a large terrace. Guests can choose between rooms with sea view or views of the lovingly tended gardens. The pleasant colors in the room and bathroom are harmoniously coordinated.
I stayed in a beautiful deluxe room with sea views and was able to enjoy the calming sound of the sea day and night.

The hotel is the starting point for many activities on the island. You can experience exciting journeys in a jeep, explore exciting unspoiled landscapes. Water sports such as windsurfing, sailing or diving are very popular here. You can also simply lie on one of the endless beaches in the sun and enjoy the crystal clear waters of the ocean off Fuerteventura, and of course on the hotel's own beach. The youngest guests will love the animals in Oasis Park and the water park in Corralejo.

For guests who prefer a quiet holiday, the hotel offers a luxurious 3,000 sqm spa area that just fulfills every wish!

The Bahia Vital Spa offers so many possibilities for relaxation and wellness that I had a hard time trying everything.

Swimming in the pool with a water temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, guests can enjoy the magnificent view of the sea. You can relax in whirlpools, adventure showers, a Finnish sauna, the sanarium or in a steam bath. In addition, one can indulge oneself with a massage, physiotherapy, aromatherapy or one of the various wellness packages in one of the 17 treatment rooms.

For active athletes, there is a separate fitness club with a lot of equipment and courses available. There is also a nice terrace with whirlpool.

If you want to relax in the open air and sheltered from the wind, I recommend the Coco Beach Chillout. This was my absolute favorite place. It can be reached via a footbridge from the hotel beach. Here you can relax on Balinese loungers overlooking the turquoise sea. Everything here is stylishly designed in beautiful white. I loved spending time here: An extraordinary atmosphere with quiet music and a wonderful view.

On the other side of the hotel's own beach is the Coco Beach Lounge & Club, also located on a platform above the sea. Here you can enjoy delicious food and cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel offers a total of 6 restaurants with very varied gastronomy at the highest level.
For example, the restaurant "La Cúpula" was awarded a "Sol Repsol". Here star chef Carles Gaig serves the finest dishes.

The Japanese restaurant Yamatori offers various exotic dishes and sushi. In the buffet restaurant you can also enjoy a large selection of freshly prepared culinary delights in the evening.

In the evening you can enjoy fine cocktails with live music in the piano bar "El Mirador". It has been awarded as the best cocktail bar on the Canary Islands. Also during the day, from here and the terrace you have a great view of the ocean. As a musician, I couldn't resist the unique charm and ambience of the bar and I sat down at the piano to play a few songs.

This relaxing winter trip from cold Germany made me very happy. I liked the island very much as a summer oasis in the European winter. The hotel is simply brilliant! You can hardly get more luxurious recreation. The service and the very courteous staff are also just great. Here one takes the time to fulfill every wish of the guests. If you are planning a trip to Fuerteventura, I can highly recommend the hotel. I really enjoyed my time here.
