Mayrhofen
Vor einem Jahr habe ich das erste Mal Skifahren ausprobiert, und zwar in den Bergen in Mayrhofen. Das war auch mein erster Skiurlaub. Alles war neu für mich und ich war total begeistert von den unglaublich schönen Aussichten.
Mayrhofen befindet sich in Österreich im Zillertal im Herzen von Tirol.
Jedes Mal, wenn ich mich an diesen tollen Winterurlaub erinnere, schlägt mein Herz höher vor Freude an die wunderschönen Erinnerungen.
Wir haben in einem netten und gastfreundlichen Hotel „Berghof“ gewohnt. Es gab sehr leckeres Essen und einen tollen Wellness Bereich und perfekt saubere Zimmer.
Als ich das erste Mal mit der Seilbahn auf die Piste von Penken gefahren bin, dachte ich dass ich träume. Solche Aussichten habe ich bisher nur in Filmen gesehen.
Schaut euch die Bilder an, das ist wirklich mit Worten schwer zu beschreiben.
Weil ich absolut unerfahren beim Skifahren war, habe ich einen Skilehrer bekommen. Mein Ziel war es, am Ende des viertägigen Urlaubs eine Rote Piste zu fahren.
Ich habe gehört, dass es oben auf dem Berg eine Hütte gibt mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Ich wollte sie unbedingt sehen! Das Problem war aber, dass man zurück nur durch die rote Piste zurückkommen kann.
An dieser Stelle muss ich ganz großen Dank an meinen Skilehrer von den „Roten Profis“ sagen, weil ich es geschafft habe! Das hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt!
Ist das nicht atemberaubend? Die „Schneekar Hütte“ ist am Fuß des Berges.
Das ist das wunderschöne Panorama, welches man beim Kaffee trinken genießen kann, wenn man auf der Veranda sitzt. Die Hütte befindet sich in 2250m Höhe auf dem Horberg.
Natürlich könne die ganzen Handyfotos die Schönheit nicht zeigen, aber ich schaue sie trotzdem immer gerne an, wenn ich an den Urlaub zurück denke.
Abends bietet Mayrhofen auch viel zur Unterhaltung: edle Restaurants, Bars, Discos, verschiedene Wellness und Spa Salons.
Diesen Wintertraum werde ich nie in meinem Leben vergessen. Und Ski fahren kann ich jetzt auch ein bisschen ☺

About a year ago I tried skiing for the first time in the mountains near Mayrhofen. It was also my very first skiing-holiday. Everything was totally new for me and i was astonished by the wonderful view.
Mayrhofen is located in Austria in Zillertal which is located in the midst of Tirol.
Every time I think back to this wonderful winter holiday, my heart beats faster because of the wonderful memories.
We have stayed in in a very nice and hospitable hotel called “Berghof”. The food was great and they had a nice wellness area. The rooms where beautiful and very clean.
I thought I was dreaming as I first took the cable railway to the ski slopes of Penken. I saw this kind of landscapes in movies only.
Just look at the pictures – it’s just hard to describe it with words.
Because I was a total noob on skiing, they gave me a skiing teacher.
My target was to get down alive on a red route on the 4th day of my holidays.
I heard that there is a beautiful ski hut at the top of the mountain with an amazing view. I really wanted to see it but the problem was, that the way back leads through a red route.
I have to say a big thanks to my skiing teacher of the “Red Pros”, because they taught me well and I MADE IT! It was really worth it.
Isn’t that amazing?! The „Schneekar Hütte“ is actually at the bottom oft he mountain.
This beautiful Panorama you can enjoy while sipping coffee on the veranda. The hut is located at 2250 Meters on the “Horberg”.
Of cause everything looks waaay better in real life, those cellphone pictures are not doing the whole scenery any justice. But i still like to look at those pictures when I think back to the trip.
The evening entertainment of Mayrhofen is top notch too. Nice restaurants, bars, discos and various wellness and spa salons.
I will never forget this winter dream. And I can ski a bit now also! ☺
